Low back pain (lumbago)
Pain and stiffness in the lower back, sometimes following an unexpected movement and sometimes without an obvious cause. Bending, lifting, sitting or standing up may temporarily be more difficult.

Conditions & injuries
Back and neck concerns can begin suddenly or develop gradually. Below is a brief explanation of conditions I regularly support.
Pain and stiffness in the lower back, sometimes following an unexpected movement and sometimes without an obvious cause. Bending, lifting, sitting or standing up may temporarily be more difficult.
Pain that travels from the lower back or buttock into the leg. Tingling, numbness or reduced strength may also occur.
Neck pain that extends towards the shoulder, arm or hand. It may be accompanied by stiffness, tingling or difficulty with certain arm movements.
Neck symptoms following a sudden acceleration and deceleration movement, such as a road collision. Pain, stiffness, headaches and sensitivity to activity may occur.
Personal guidance
We begin with a conversation and physical assessment. Together, we then create a plan that combines clear explanations, suitable exercises and a gradual return to the activities that matter to you.
This information can help you recognise common conditions, but it is not a diagnosis. Similar symptoms can have different causes. A personal assessment helps determine what may be happening and what support is appropriate.
A next step
Feel free to get in touch. You do not need to know the exact name of your condition beforehand.
