Pain around the shoulder or upper arm that is often noticeable when reaching, lifting, moving overhead or lying on the affected side.
Pain on the outside of the elbow that may increase with gripping, lifting or bending the wrist backwards. It is not necessarily caused by tennis.
Pain on the inside of the elbow, often sensitive during firm gripping, lifting or repeated use of the wrist and forearm.
Overstretching of the ligaments around the wrist, for example after falling onto the hand. Pain, swelling and difficulty bearing weight or gripping may occur.
Personal guidance
We begin with a conversation and physical assessment. Together, we then create a plan that combines clear explanations, suitable exercises and a gradual return to the activities that matter to you.
This information can help you recognise common conditions, but it is not a diagnosis. Similar symptoms can have different causes. A personal assessment helps determine what may be happening and what support is appropriate.
